INTERNATIONAL BULLETIN OF MISSION RESEARCH
our quarterly research publication
An in-depth analysis of history, theory/theology, and practice of Christian mission and world Christianity, the International Bulletin of Mission Research – available from Sage Publications – is a premier source of information on the world church in mission. It provides an editorial voice that is analytical and nonpartisan. Many of today’s foremost missiologists, mission theologians, and scholars of world Christianity appear in the IBMR and as seminar leaders at OMSC.
of missionaries, church leaders, and scholars from around the world
OMSC is a residential community for the spiritual and professional renewal of missionaries, church leaders, research scholars, artists, and others. In the past fifteen years, over 1000 people from every continent have contributed their unique gifts to the enrichment of this community. Our common life is guided by our unity in Jesus Christ and fellowship in the work of his kingdom.
seminars in intercultural Christian mission and ministry
OMSC offers a world-class, noncredit, study program – seminars for church leaders, missionaries, mission executives, mission committee leaders, and others. Those who participate may earn a Certificate in Mission Studies. Each semester an experienced Senior Mission Scholar in Residence offers residents counsel regarding his or her own work and research interests.
