Who should attend?
Mission seminars are offered for anyone interested in world Christianity.

Why should I attend?
Whether you are a seasoned theologian, a future missionary, or just someone who wants to explore the Christian world mission, OMSC offers an opportunity you won’t want to miss! OMSC seminars provide opportunities to interact with people from around the world and learn from world-class instructors.

When are the seminars held?
Most seminars begin either on Mondays at 1:30 p.m. or Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. (following community worship). Most sessions conclude by 4:00 p.m. Seminars are generally not held Friday afternoons. Check our web site or contact Maureen Alonso, the study program registrar, at, for details.

Where are the seminars held?
OMSC seminars are held in Great Commission Hall at OMSC, 490 Prospect Street, New Haven, Connecticut, USA, which is located a mile north of downtown New Haven. Off-street parking is provided without charge for seminar participants. For directions and an interactive street map, go to

Where can I stay during the seminar?
You may stay in one of the comfortable guest rooms in OMSC’s Administration Building, three of which include a private bath. After you have registered for a seminar, contact Maureen Alonso, the study program registrar, at, for information on prices and room availability. OMSC may suggest a reduced rate at a nearby hotel if guest rooms are unavailable.

What should I bring?
You may bring a laptop (free wi-fi is available) or a notebook and pen. You may bring lunch or eat at nearby Albertus Magnus College or Yale Divinity School. Numerous restaurants are available in downtown New Haven. Coffee breaks will be provided.
